Beyond The Gate II
Here's one from Marshall's Beach when I was out with Matt and Miguel. We originally embarked for a possible storm chase in Lake County, but after much deliberation we spotted a coastal fog break at the Marin headlands and made a run for Marshall's Beach. The low tide and unseasonably warm water made for a great time dodging wave crashes on this gorgeous rocky shore.
After dark, the fog rolled in and obscured our passage back up the bluff to our cars. Matt and I ended up at Baker Beach for a long hike back to the car, drenched and banged up, but it was worth it.
I'm pretty sure those are Matt's footprints all over the upper beach area. BTW, if you come here on a warm day, you are likely to see a full moon, or several.
