The lights of Pier 7 were just turning on shortly after sunset as holiday shoppers and business people were milling around the Embarcadero near the Ferry Building. That is the silhouette of the highly recognizable Transamerica Tower in the background. If you are wondering whether the coveted blue beacon turned on while I was there...YES it most certainly did, but not until the skies were quite black, too dark for a decent pic. ah well.
