From 2016's Fleet Week airshow in San Francisco, the Blue Angels passed behind Russian Hill as seen from a rooftop on Lombard St. Between us, a marching band boomed down Columbus St for the annual Italian Heritage Parade. A spirit of celebration filled the air.
Lens is the DFA 150-450mm on the Pentax K3II. Shot handheld, which if you follow my flickr stream you know I never shoot without my tripod, so it was kinda wierd and icky holding the camera in my hands, lol. There was no manipulation done to the location of the planes - what you see is how I got it.
