Morning light bathes San Francisco's majestic financial district, as seen from Russian Hill.

I got here early and grabbed a few shots of Coit Tower with a colorless overcast sky. Just as I was packing up to leave, the sun broke over the clouds to light the buildings of the financial district in a lovely warm glow, so I brought the camera back out for a couple more shots.

This is a 2-exposure (0.0 and -1.3 EV) HDR, 4-frame pano, stitched using Photoshop and tone mapped in Nik HDR Efex Pro and a little warm color added using Nik Color Efex Pro. I am learning to use this suite and so far enjoying the results.

The Camera is my new Pentax 645D Medium Format Digital with a Pentax DFA 55/2.8 lens. Boots by Rockport...just seeing if anyone reads any of this stuff, lol.
