If I come back from an outing with one good pic, call me happy. I remembered shooting this pano Monday night after the previously posted sunset shot, but did not think much of it at the moment. Instead, I looked at it today and was very pleased after stitching the pano together.
Would you believe another 15 minutes after this as I was hiking toward my car, the REAL show started and all these clouds went deep magenta? Yeah, it happened. I didn't get a pic of that.
Lens is the A120mm f/4 macro on the 645Z. This is a portion of a much larger pano, but all the good stuff is in here. Just by luck, Little Blue Peak in Lake County(77miles away) is visible on the distant horizon. I have worked that little gem into several of my Solano county images. This is a single exposure. I still hate safflower, just sayin'.
Thanks!
