Happy New Year, 2014!

Just an excerpt from last night's festivities in San Francisco, CA, photographed from Treasure Island.

Our group of superstars met up early and then were like a cat that couldn't get comfortable to take a nap, we all started second guessing locations, climbing up, climbing down, eventually splitting off to go to other parts of the island to find alternate compositions. I finally settled in with this frame near the north end of Treasure Island shortly before the stroke of midnight, and shot it as a multi-frame, 2 exposure pano set.

Lens is the oldish SMC A-120/4 Macro which is sharp as can be. Check out this 100% crop: mikeoria.zenfolio.com/img/s4/v12/p197947976-5.jpg

Now, I'm off to get some sleep!
