From the Big Island of Hawai'i. The day we landed, I made a beeline for this low forest of twisted trees, trying to beat the sundown. Well, as often happens, it got dark, very dark, and I found myself deep in this dark, prickly, forest with no light, save for a cell phone. I eventually retraced my path and made it back to the car, never actually finding any petroglyphs.
