Isleton Bridge

Isleton Bridge

The extra hour for "fall back" had me awake an hour earlier than usual, so I grabbed my gear and drove up to Isleton Bridge, hoping for some sky glow, since last evening's clouds were lingering through the night.
I got here, then talked myself out of this comp and drove to nearby Tyler Island Bridge instead. When I got there and set-up, a pack of coyotes was along the bank and about to meet me, so I opted for the less barky banks at my prior spot. I drove back here just in time to grab this very first shot as the sky was glowing in magenta goodness. By the time I made tweaks to my framing and exposure, the magic was all gone.
Fortunately, not a single boat had passed in some time, so the waters were mirror calm. This is a fairly swift river which empties ultimately into the bay, but on still mornings, it looks like a pond.
Single exposure, single frame, shot with the FA 25mm f/4 lens on the 645Z.
Thanks for looking.
