The Gold Coast
Returning to a familiar favorite spot along the California Delta near Rio Vista. I am usually here when it is either bitter cold and windy, raining, infested with mosquitoes or skunks, or at high tide when it is impossible to access the beach. On this night, there was a low tide, a warm delta breeze and soft lapping waves under a vibrant golden sky..nice. My 4 yo daughter came along to help. I even rolled up my pants and waded out to submerge my tripod in the river for a few wide shots of the wreckage.
This is a 2-exposure composite, manually blended. Lens is the very impressive SMC-A 45/2.8 attached to my new Pentax 645D camera. Yes, I took it out over the splashing water for those wide shots. :)
