Paintersville Bridge
Just before sunset last evening, I threw my tripod and camera bag in the truck and sped north, hoping to frame up some of the promising sun rays popping through light rain clouds.
Well, as is often the case with my lack-of-planning adventures, I drove and drove and could not find a suitable subject to frame up the brilliant orange sunset. As it began to get dark, I decided to turn around and make the oft trodden "drive of shame", my SD card still blank.
At Paintersville, I crossed the bridge and decided to get down along the riverbank to frame up a blue hour shot. Well, I was happy I did, because the bridge popped awake in twilight glow, enough to frame up this 30 second exposure.
I made the 1hr drive home with a pretty good feeling all that gas burned was not completely in vain.
