Mackenson
Rising tide last evening along the Sacramento River in the California Delta. This place always pops up on GPS as "Mackenson" though I have never seen any formal reference to that name. I have been haunting these shores by night since 2009 and am always amazed how different these little coves change from year to year.
Just remember if you come...bring bug repellant! I had to keep applying mine to ward off the cloud of flying critters that hovered over my position well into darkess.
I also unwittingly disrupted a pair of otters that first began to "chuff" at me and ultimately decided to go elsewhere. Sorry, friends.
Lens is the DFA 25mm f/4 on the 645Z. I will need to wipe off the oily layer of Bullfrog insect repellant before I venture out this evening.
Hope you like it!
