Morning light on Bowling Ball Beach in Mendocino county, California. Clint and I hit the beach at 1:45a and stayed around till the first light of morning. We now know about the hordes of small jumping creatures that live on this beach, leaping indiscriminately into every crevice of our clothing and equipment bags. This knowledge, if even for one fleeting moment, can send any man of reasonable constitution to contemplate the integrity of underwear elastic. Please just make it stop!
