Orchid

This Phaelanopsis orchid has been blooming lately and I am suffering seascape withdrawal, so I set up the camera for a flower shot.
I incorporated focus stacking here to control DOF and get an extra sharp image. Manually blended in Photoshop. Oh, and here is a 100% crop to show some of the details hiding in the full image: mikeoria.zenfolio.com/img/s6/v147/p971778171.jpg
The lens is an older Pentax 67[format] 105mm adapted to the 645D. I used a small extension tube to get in tight as this lens will not natively focus very close. A little off camera flash and two LED flashlights in the background to create some interesting bokeh.
I hope you like this. :)
