Northern lights over Northern California, here from Goat Rock Beach near Jenner. An unplanned but necessary excursion to parts unknown as we chased the aurora, hoping to catch a good shot.
As luck would have it, a crescent moon was setting on the beach competing for attention. Sorry moon.
