Rodeo Moon
A full moon descends slowly over the monolithic sea stacks at Rodeo Beach in Marin county, as the first light of day illuminates the offshore marine layer in pink Venusian goodness (Belt of Venus effect - Google that one).
I made an early morning trek to the Marin headlands hoping for a cityscape, but decided that the western sky might be my best bet for color, and redirected down to Rodeo cove.
This is a 2-minute exposure using the older A35mm f/3.5 lens on the 645Z. By the time the sun rose, I was soaked from head to toe following several wave surges. It took awhile before I could feel my fingers and feet again, but any trip to the ocean is always worth the price of admission...
...as long as the admission is free.
Thanks for looking!
