A Crescent moon sets behind the ridge above Convict Lake.
I joined Miguel for our annual "milky way season" kickoff weekend which included several runs between mono lake and big pine. There was far more driving than actual photography, but well worth the trek.
Lens is the D FA150-450mm on the K3II. Single exposure. We dropped in at Convict Lake during civil twilight and the lake was not very photogenic, but the moon was putting on a nice show.
